Paris by Paris is a bilingual editorial object that captures the layered identity of the city through image, history, and atmosphere. Developed as a continuation of the bestselling New York by New York, the book explores Paris as both subject and medium. A place of contrast, memory, and reinvention.

The design builds on an established visual language while introducing a distinct Parisian voice. The cover follows the recognizable structure of the New York title, pairing bold, saturated color with a subtle black and white image detail. A playful but controlled gesture that anchors the series while signaling a new narrative.

The slipcase introduces a more architectural presence. Deep black typography references the Paris Metro, with strong contrast and Art Nouveau influence. The bronze matte foil adds warmth and depth, drawing from historic Parisian palettes. On the reverse, a black and white night view of the Seine brings a sense of quiet drama and timelessness.

Inside, the book unfolds as a sequence of visual collages and full-bleed imagery. Archival material sits alongside contemporary photography, creating a rhythm between past and present. The layout was developed in parallel French and English editions, requiring careful typographic balance and pacing across both versions. Each chapter builds a layered narrative, guiding the reader through over a century of cultural, artistic, and social history.

The object was approached holistically. From cover and slipcase to interior and production box, every detail was considered through an iterative process of testing and refinement. Extensive proofing, color calibration, material exploration, and foil studies informed the final result. Close collaboration with production teams, printers, and photo editors ensured consistency and precision at every stage.

This book was used as part of the Assouline marketing campaign for Valentine’s Day 2025.

Wine & Travel France is the inaugural title in Assouline’s Wine & Travel series, exploring France through the lens of its wine regions. The project brings together heritage, landscape, and lifestyle into a cohesive editorial object that feels both rooted and refined.

The art direction balances rustic authenticity with understated luxury. The cover was developed to evoke the agricultural depth of French winemaking while maintaining a polished presence. Brass and black foil stamping, paired with a warm orange and cream palette, establish a tactile and visual richness. Tip ons on the back introduce a playful, archival quality, referencing the layered history of wine culture.

The interior is structured as a chapter-based journey across twelve regions, each with its own visual identity. The layout blends full-bleed photography with collage elements and handwritten-style annotations, creating a scrapbook sensibility that feels personal yet elevated. Endpapers feature a curated composition of wine labels sourced across France, setting the tone from the first page. Throughout the book, imagery captures the diversity of French terrain and the labor behind winemaking, from coastal vineyards to inland valleys, reinforcing a narrative of place, craft and discovery.

Close collaboration with production, printers, and photo editors was central to the process. Extensive material testing, color proofing and foil studies ensured a precise translation from concept to final object.

Designed with the creative team at Assouline Publishing for Netflix, this editorial volume traces the creative journey behind Jay Kelly, the new film by Noah Baumbach. Starring George Clooney alongside Adam Sandler, the project balances intimacy and scale through a carefully orchestrated narrative and design approach.

The book pairs the full screenplay with cinematic film stills, using pacing, composition, and sequencing to mirror the emotional rhythm of the film. Typography and layout guide readers through the story, allowing text and imagery to unfold in conversation. Interviews with Baumbach and co-writer Emily Mortimer offer insights into the evolving structure of the screenplay, while contributions from producers, designers, and key collaborators deepen the creative context. Behind-the-scenes and on-set photography add texture and immediacy to the design. Conceived as both a cinematic archive and an object of craft, the book celebrates the artistry and collaboration at the heart of filmmaking.

Created for the school’s internal website, accessible to staff, parents, and students, the icons are fun and lively, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the community and the school’s warm, international culture.

Design of Sig Bergamin Eclectic, the third volume dedicated to the designer’s work, published by Assouline. The project explores a visual language that reflects Bergamin’s distinctive approach to interiors, balancing richness, spontaneity, and refinement across a global selection of homes.

The cover sets the tone through a carefully composed staircase image, inviting the reader into the spaces while establishing a sense of openness and discovery. The composition balances color and visual density, allowing typography to remain crisp while maintaining an energetic and approachable feel. Extensive material testing informed the final result, including color variations, foil stamping techniques, and cloth selections to achieve a vibrant yet controlled presence.

Inside, the layout builds a rhythm between full-bleed imagery and structured four-image compositions. Each section introduces a new residence, enriched by curated quotes from architects, owners, and collaborators, offering insight into the character and atmosphere of each space. The sequencing was designed to feel eclectic yet intentional, revealing Bergamin’s ability to merge tropical influences with European sensibility. Endpapers extend the cover narrative, using the staircase wall painting to guide the reader seamlessly into the book. The overall experience aims to balance warmth, personality, and livability with a clear sense of luxury and editorial precision.

The design reimagines the event’s title, “Miracle Walk,” through the symbolic use of the winged Hermes foot sculpture, surrounded by colorful, puzzle-like shapes that evoke playfulness and childhood energy. Though this version was not selected for the final campaign, it remains a favorite creative exploration.

The logo plays on the idea of motion and acceleration, inspired by motorcycle dynamics. Its custom typeface echoes the streamlined shape of speed and vehicle movement while maintaining strong symmetry and crisp edges for optimal legibility. The marketing and packaging mockups were created as part of the conceptual design phase and have not yet been finalized for production or advertising use.

A playful and personal series of illustrations celebrating fall traditions in Alexandria, Virginia, from Thanksgiving shopping to pumpkin picking to Halloween trick-or-treating. The artworks capture the cozy spirit of the season through vibrant colors and lively compositions. One of the illustrations was featured on an online art account highlighting colorful pumpkin-themed designs.

1- llustration created for social media featuring Simply Nova NYC’s signature offerings in Brooklyn. The artwork highlights some of their best sellers, including Icelandic smoked salmon, Eastern Nova Scotia salmon, whitefish, and pole-caught bluefin tuna, alongside scallion cream cheese and Brins jam. It captures the freshness and flavor of a classic New York spread.

2- lllustration for social media around Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co.’s oysters served in their steel tray with mignonette and cocktail sauce.

Designed 2 stamps for APCB to celebrate their 4 year anniversary. APCB (name changed) is a non-profit organization based in Normandy that helps with sustainable fishing and cleaning our ocean and our air. Both of these stamps were designed around sunset colors to match with their invitation event. I wanted to go towards a firework-like sunset to celebrate their special milestone and make the sky and sea hard to distinguish amongst each other.

The second stamp is only to be used alongside the first stamp (sunset and sea design) in case the envelope weighs over 20g.
