Paris by Paris is a bilingual editorial object that captures the layered identity of the city through image, history, and atmosphere. Developed as a continuation of the bestselling New York by New York, the book explores Paris as both subject and medium. A place of contrast, memory, and reinvention.

The design builds on an established visual language while introducing a distinct Parisian voice. The cover follows the recognizable structure of the New York title, pairing bold, saturated color with a subtle black and white image detail. A playful but controlled gesture that anchors the series while signaling a new narrative.

The slipcase introduces a more architectural presence. Deep black typography references the Paris Metro, with strong contrast and Art Nouveau influence. The bronze matte foil adds warmth and depth, drawing from historic Parisian palettes. On the reverse, a black and white night view of the Seine brings a sense of quiet drama and timelessness.

Inside, the book unfolds as a sequence of visual collages and full-bleed imagery. Archival material sits alongside contemporary photography, creating a rhythm between past and present. The layout was developed in parallel French and English editions, requiring careful typographic balance and pacing across both versions. Each chapter builds a layered narrative, guiding the reader through over a century of cultural, artistic, and social history.

The object was approached holistically. From cover and slipcase to interior and production box, every detail was considered through an iterative process of testing and refinement. Extensive proofing, color calibration, material exploration, and foil studies informed the final result. Close collaboration with production teams, printers, and photo editors ensured consistency and precision at every stage.

This book was used as part of the Assouline marketing campaign for Valentine’s Day 2025.

Wine & Travel France is the inaugural title in Assouline’s Wine & Travel series, exploring France through the lens of its wine regions. The project brings together heritage, landscape, and lifestyle into a cohesive editorial object that feels both rooted and refined.

The art direction balances rustic authenticity with understated luxury. The cover was developed to evoke the agricultural depth of French winemaking while maintaining a polished presence. Brass and black foil stamping, paired with a warm orange and cream palette, establish a tactile and visual richness. Tip ons on the back introduce a playful, archival quality, referencing the layered history of wine culture.

The interior is structured as a chapter-based journey across twelve regions, each with its own visual identity. The layout blends full-bleed photography with collage elements and handwritten-style annotations, creating a scrapbook sensibility that feels personal yet elevated. Endpapers feature a curated composition of wine labels sourced across France, setting the tone from the first page. Throughout the book, imagery captures the diversity of French terrain and the labor behind winemaking, from coastal vineyards to inland valleys, reinforcing a narrative of place, craft and discovery.

Close collaboration with production, printers, and photo editors was central to the process. Extensive material testing, color proofing and foil studies ensured a precise translation from concept to final object.

Created for an editorial piece on food transparency, labeling, and seasonal cooking, the artwork brings the “BIO” (organic) concept to life while keeping a lively yet balanced composition next to the text. The visuals celebrate clean eating and the farm-to-fork philosophy with freshness and joy.

Designed with the creative team at Assouline Publishing for Netflix, this editorial volume traces the creative journey behind Jay Kelly, the new film by Noah Baumbach. Starring George Clooney alongside Adam Sandler, the project balances intimacy and scale through a carefully orchestrated narrative and design approach.

The book pairs the full screenplay with cinematic film stills, using pacing, composition, and sequencing to mirror the emotional rhythm of the film. Typography and layout guide readers through the story, allowing text and imagery to unfold in conversation. Interviews with Baumbach and co-writer Emily Mortimer offer insights into the evolving structure of the screenplay, while contributions from producers, designers, and key collaborators deepen the creative context. Behind-the-scenes and on-set photography add texture and immediacy to the design. Conceived as both a cinematic archive and an object of craft, the book celebrates the artistry and collaboration at the heart of filmmaking.

Designed Version 2.0 of a custom icon set for the private French-American school in Paris. Created for the school’s internal website, accessible to staff, parents, and students, the icons are fun and lively, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the community and the school’s warm, international culture.

Design of Sig Bergamin Eclectic, the third volume dedicated to the designer’s work, published by Assouline. The project explores a visual language that reflects Bergamin’s distinctive approach to interiors, balancing richness, spontaneity, and refinement across a global selection of homes.

The cover sets the tone through a carefully composed staircase image, inviting the reader into the spaces while establishing a sense of openness and discovery. The composition balances color and visual density, allowing typography to remain crisp while maintaining an energetic and approachable feel. Extensive material testing informed the final result, including color variations, foil stamping techniques, and cloth selections to achieve a vibrant yet controlled presence.

Inside, the layout builds a rhythm between full-bleed imagery and structured four-image compositions. Each section introduces a new residence, enriched by curated quotes from architects, owners, and collaborators, offering insight into the character and atmosphere of each space. The sequencing was designed to feel eclectic yet intentional, revealing Bergamin’s ability to merge tropical influences with European sensibility. Endpapers extend the cover narrative, using the staircase wall painting to guide the reader seamlessly into the book. The overall experience aims to balance warmth, personality, and livability with a clear sense of luxury and editorial precision.

From fashion and interiors to art and architecture, the brand’s influence captures the richness of Thai culture through silk inspired by the country’s flora, fauna, and vibrant color traditions.

Featuring lush photography by Chris Schalkx alongside archival and brand imagery, with text by journalist Stephen Wallis, the book explores the artistry of Thai silk and the enigmatic story of the Thai Silk King.

A full-page editorial system built on a unified collage language that integrates typography, imagery, and required elements into a single composition. Black and white photographic foundations are activated by red and blue interventions, referencing France and the United States.

The visual approach draws from The Economist, Le Monde Magazine, The New York Times, and Jacobin. Archival imagery is combined with contemporary forms and geometric overlays to establish a clear editorial voice. The tone is direct and analytical. The collage signals a publication built on multiple perspectives, inviting the reader to explore the theme “Frontiers” through articles, poems, and opinion pieces.

Illustrated and designed posters, social media assets, stickers, email and website banners, and merchandise to promote Lycée Cares, a partnership between City Harvest and the Lycée Français de New York. The campaign encourages families and students to decorate sustainable snack bags, donate food, and help pack them for delivery across New York City.

The visuals feature playful, mascot-style characters with subdued, nostalgic colors inspired by vintage Disney cartoons, blending warmth, community spirit, and a touch of classic charm.

The work reflects on how geopolitical tensions have disrupted the exchange of data and cooperation in climate research, raising concerns about incomplete findings, halted fieldwork, and funding crises.

A playful series of Halloween-themed illustration work created for social media, celebrating the magic of trick-or-treating in the U.S., where spooky fun meets sweet nostalgia.
The Reese’s piece captures the cozy thrill of Halloween night with bold, dramatic tones that stay true to the brand’s warm identity.
The Butterfinger illustration plays on the same mix of fright and delight, using rich, modern colors to highlight the candy’s mischievous character while keeping that sense of childhood wonder alive.

Created an animated video for a pilot documentary produced for BFM TV and France 24 exploring the theme “Crypto Regulation Is Coming, and Africa Leads the Way.” The animation combines clarity and motion to illustrate complex financial and technological concepts in an engaging, accessible way.

A festive wreath illustration created as part of a design challenge and also used for a classic Christmas card. The main version features traditional holiday elements and bells, and the illustration was later adapted into multiple personalized variations by updating the presents under the wreath. Each version feels unique to its recipient while keeping a cohesive holiday spirit.

The third is a lively illustration celebrating bar food and the fun of game night. The composition stacks each item in playful balance, creating a sense of motion and excitement, with deep pub-inspired colors and flying snacks bringing the scene to life.

Created a digital collage for Pascale Richard, French Advisor (Counselor for French Citizens Abroad), for her October newsletter. Inspired by Soviet avant-garde poster design, the work explores themes of visa policies, new U.S. laws, and their impact on French-American residents. Two versions were developed, and the blue-flag collage, conveying calm and optimism, was featured in the final publication.

A series of personal collages inspired by The Economist’s signature visual style, exploring the political and economic ties between Gerhard Schröder and Vladimir Putin surrounding the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. The work traces Germany’s growing dependence on Russian gas, highlights which countries rely most on Russian oil (as of November 2021), and features quotes from world leaders including Angela Merkel, Volodymyr Zelensky, Donald Trump, Gerhard Schröder, and Emmanuel Macron (2016–2021).

Poster and trifold brochure concept for the Miracle Walk campaign at the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), inspired by Paul Rand’s 1960 advertisement for the New York and Pennsylvania Paper Company. The design reimagines the event’s title, “Miracle Walk,” through the symbolic use of the winged Hermes foot sculpture, surrounded by colorful, puzzle-like shapes that evoke playfulness and childhood energy. Though this version was not selected for the final campaign, it remains a favorite creative exploration.

The logo plays on the idea of motion and acceleration, inspired by motorcycle dynamics. Its custom typeface echoes the streamlined shape of speed and vehicle movement while maintaining strong symmetry and crisp edges for optimal legibility. The marketing and packaging mockups were created as part of the conceptual design phase and have not yet been finalized for production or advertising use.

The first illustration explores different ways to enjoy the hot sauce by pairing it with tacos, fried chicken, soft-boiled eggs, and chips. The second illustration highlights the signature Yellowbird bottle, placing the packaging front and center with a fiery backdrop and a warm, spicy aura surrounding the design.

1- llustration created for social media featuring Simply Nova NYC’s signature offerings in Brooklyn. The artwork highlights some of their best sellers, including Icelandic smoked salmon, Eastern Nova Scotia salmon, whitefish, and pole-caught bluefin tuna, alongside scallion cream cheese and Brins jam. It captures the freshness and flavor of a classic New York spread.

Designed 2 stamps for APCB to celebrate their 4 year anniversary. APCB (name changed) is a non-profit organization based in Normandy that helps with sustainable fishing and cleaning our ocean and our air. Both of these stamps were designed around sunset colors to match with their invitation event. I wanted to go towards a firework-like sunset to celebrate their special milestone and make the sky and sea hard to distinguish amongst each other.

The second stamp is only to be used alongside the first stamp (sunset and sea design) in case the envelope weighs over 20g.

One of the illustrations was featured on an online art account highlighting colorful pumpkin-themed designs.

2- Illustration work celebrating the baked goods of Ovenly Bakery in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The artwork highlights the charm and variety of their treats, from pumpkin seed pound cake and blueberry muffins to cookies and rose-petal-iced cakes, combining warmth, texture, and a touch of whimsy.

3- And finally, the series also includes playful illustrations for Moe’s Dough donuts, capturing a fun and flashy, bright-color style inspired by iconic Greenpoint bakeries and designed for social media artwork.

Designed a series of digital illustrations for Coach Santé Naturelle celebrating traditional breakfasts from around the world, including Canada, Greece, France, the United Kingdom, Denmark, the United States, and Australia. Each composition highlights the key elements and table traditions of each country, complemented by its national flower or plant and a signature table pattern for added cultural detail.
